The Island Lake Property Owners Association (ILPOA) is represented by a volunteer Board of Directors, who serve the interests of the association and community members. Our board:   

• Maintains the roads in winter and summer;
• Works with property owners on road, environmental, and shared land issues;
• Monitors the water and shoreline quality of Island Lake and surrounding watershed;
• Organizes work parties to control the spread of invasive species;
• Operates the Association website and provides additional information resources to members; and
• Advocates on behalf of the neighbourhood with the Municipality of La Pêche and Quebec provincial government.

The Board of Directors are available year-round to support Association members.

The ILPOA is always in search of new ideas and volunteers. Make a difference by joining a committee, getting involved in community issues, and meeting your neighbours.

The purpose of the Island Lake Property Owners Association (ILPOA) is to foster the common interests of the Island Lake neighbourhood and its members with respect to issues affecting their property, road access, and quality of life in the community, including maintenance of the roads, protection of the natural environment in the Island Lake watershed, and promotion of an aesthetic human settlement.
